UCSF neuroscientists are at the forefront in diagnosing and exploring treatments for the various brain degenerative diseases of aging. Our hope is that these YouTube videos will help caregivers and physicians in the recognition and accurate diagnosis of the various forms of dementia. Our goals are promoting earlier diagnoses, in order get more patients into clinical trials, and helping families cope with these devastating illnesses.

  • Thank you so much for doing these videos!!!! This is truly awesome! My wife (41 years old) is in the advanced stages of FTD and one of my goals is to spread the word and educate folks about this awful disease. These videos are an excellent resource I have started to tell folks about. Keep the videos coming. With stuff like this we will find a cure!!!!

  • I was delighted to watch Dr.Miller's introduction of the novel Youtube channel on Alzheimer's ,CJD and other neurodegenerative diseases.Being a Russian-trained neurologist and a recent GMU visiting scholar I would like to establish the research partnership on computational gerontology and neurotechnology with the UCSF Memory and Aging Center.
