    This was the only version I knew at the time and was quite surprised that he did an original back in 1975.  You see, David Bowie was a part of my teenage years back in the 80s :-), and I am now proud to say I have listened to his albums previous to then and am an even BIGGER Bowie fan.

    I think it's just nostalgia. Both versions of the song are unique in it's own way. And this video is terrific!
