Belly Dance Seattle Classes Costumes How to Shimmy Three Quarter

I taught you how to do the Egyptian Shimmy and the Hip Shimmee in the video clip, "Belly Dance How to Shimmy" . In this video clip filmed in my home studio DreamYogaAndDance.com, I show you how to do the Three-Quarter (3/4) Shimmy, also known as a walking shimmy or an ATS (circling) shimmy that you see many tribal style dancers using to enter a stage. I'll show you how to produce an "up" from the floor, or a "down" using a snap from the inner thigh to get nice isolated movement. Combined with zills, 10 minutes a day of practice leads to perfection.

You're a good teacher. Thanks for the lesson. Could I suggest that you use better lighting in your studio. It's a little too dark in these videos. Thanks, anyway. Hope you'll post more.

@ninjafly2 Thanks. I agree with you, the lighting in this studio was very poor. I have since moved, and I use CFL's mounted on poles for better lighting when natural light is not available. Did you take a look at my other free video tips on How to Shimmee? They are in a different part of the house. I've also purchased better sound equipment since then.
