  • Um, no, see; if abortion weren't legal or viable, both children would have died naturally. By aborting the one that couldn't possibly be saved, they saved one of them. If you don't understand such a simple scenario, then how can you possibly consider yourself informed enough to have an opinion on this subject? Do you even HAVE a uterus?

  • The ban would take away the possibility of a doctor flying to South Dakota to perform the procedure if a mother is unable to travel. Everything is a just a statistic until it happens to you or someone you know. The law cannot count for every medical possibility, and it is just plain wrong to legislate the most difficult decision a mother would ever have to make. Trust women.

  • the point of the abortion ban is to protect unborn life. the reason women get abortions is because they are scared or don't want the child. this add shows the opposite. In the end the prolife movement will succeed starting with south dakota

  • okay that type is okay but when it comes to abortion just because then its a no no

  • so just because of this one insident we should let millions of othere chilldren die?

once a similar thing happend, exept the conjoind twins had been born. but one had no organs exept her brain, and she was living off her twin sister. even thou mureder is illigal docters were aloud to make the hard decision to end the life of this poor girl for the sake of her sister. a simialr thing could have happend here

  • I found this comment from sanford hospital. Sanford thought, in the end, with this clearer understanding of the measure, that the law is consistent with their current practices and values that result in only 6 abortions less than 1 percent (0.75%) of abortions in South Dakota per year. measure11 is to stop this form of birth control.

also God said do not kill. thats enough for me.

  • Give it up people. This bill is NOT trying to end lives, its trying to save lives. In 2006 there were 748 abortions in South Dakota. Only 3 were because of rape, 11 because of the 'health of the mother', & 16 because of the mental health of the mother. So...why did those 718 other babies have to die? It's called abortion on demand. Not only is it legal, but it's legal all 9 months of pregnancy in the U.S. Do the math! Keeping abortion on demand legal does NOT save lives.

  • There isn't a doctor specialized enough in SD make that decision. So, TTTS would not even apply to 11. How tacky SDHF to USE TTTS parents.

    <--TTTS mom

  • But you'd have to go through the courts to get permission and there isn't always time to do that.
