  • I no everyone entitled to their own opinion but I love Dougal and Gammer end of

  • Im with you on some of those - darwin, fracus, brisk, lethal theory - but at the events i have been to recently - and im not professing to go to raves all the time, but each time Ive seen squad-e, hixxy, sy, dougal, darren styles et al thoroughly unimpress, there's usually one or two decent sets booked - im not into hardstyle or gabba so i cant escape to another arena - and hardcore til i die is just pants! I will give that hardcore innovators a try though

  • @klmattydub Plenty of producers are making quality original tracks, check out Technikore, Al Storm, Hyperforce, DJ Wiggi, Ben X-treme, Robbie-S, Darwin, Fracus, etc. For me lethal theory records joey riot, dj kurt etc. are smashing it at the mo,go and download their recent 'Hardcore Innovators' album, some great tracks on it. Also theres some really good aussie dj's, Orbit1, Weaver, Cotts & Ravine to name a few.

  • @klmattydub Well your entitled to your opinion, but for me the production levels at the moment are top notch lol. I'd hardly say sets are endless chart remixes, you may hear 1 or 2 yeah, but people can relate to chart songs as there well known. Also it is possible for new dj's and producers to break through, just take a look at Klubfiller and MOB for example, who over the past year or 2 have really burst onto the scene. Another DJ to look out for is DJ C.

  • @robelwell88 for me sets of endless mediocre chart remixes and generic soundbyte based crap doesnt constitute a great rave - i dont have a problem with euphoric hardcore OR producers experimenting with new sounds but i don't share your view that those producers you listed are at the top of their game anymore

  • @klmattydub When I pay £20-£30 to go to a big rave, then I WANT to see the biggest names play live. If you want to see up and coming dj's and producers, then I suggest you go to the cheaper raves at smaller venues, where perhaps you might see 1 or 2 of the big names, but mostly up and comers. Thing is all the top DJ's Dougal, Gammer, Sy, Styles, Hixxy etc. have been smashing raves around the world for the past decade or more, they have the experience to put on a great rave lol

  • @klmattydub Have to disagree with you I'm afraid. People are complaining about this new electro/dubstep sounding hardcore, and then we got people like you complaining about the 'normal' euphoric sounding hardcore, what is it you want exactly? The scene is dominated by the same DJ's and producers, because nobody else is producing uk hardcore at a level as good as them YET. When someone comes along who is a talented dj AND producer, then I'm sure they'll get their shot at some point.

  • @danimayb I dont totally disagree with u mate - no offense to dougal gammer and the rest but they have sat on their laurels for too long - the scene is dominated by the same dj's churnin over crap and we have to listen to it and be exposed to it coz its all that gets plugged at the big raves - boring compilations and predictable live sets - Im not slating the big producers im pleading with them because they are breaking my heart... again!! love hardcore hate mediocrity

  • This track reminds me of something off "hardcore til i die 2" lol
