My very public marriage proposal...as seen on TV!!!

Nonsense. Marriage isn't about trying to show anything to other people. It's about two people making each other happy for the rest of their lives and bringing other people into the world to make them all happy. Some people just choose to add the element of fun by starting it out publicly.
