First of all the money spent on the war would be like borrowing $100 from Bill Gates and saying it bankrupted him, so get some numbers and learn what you are talking about before you get on the "hate Bush" bandwagon.

This is pork barrel spending, and if you researched what and where is being spent you would agree. Do your research people, politics aside.

Bush, to his credit, was smart enough for once to listen to his economic advisors and said back in 2003 that we were going to crash hard from the housing bubble unless we changed the way banks lent money people. and all the dumbocrats cried that Bush was trying to deprive people of the american dream. Bush cut taxes, kept interest rates low, halved the capital gains tax which pulled us out of the 2000 recession and kept us afloat through 9/11. Obama should take note, and stop spending.

i was not a McCain supporter. I can tell you are an Obama supporter because you are tragically misinformed. The economy tanked not because of any wars- but because the Gov't going back to the Carter years forced banks to loan to people who could not pay them back. when the banks were about to falter, they started lending practices that screwed people (the same ones who contributed to Obama) and those people ended up neck high in debt. Seeing as how Obama is spending, he is more Bush than Bush!

Bush and McCain had no interest in fixing the country or the economy. Bush wanted to keep tax cuts for the rich permanent and that wouldn't have been fair to the middle and working class. He wanted to give breaks to hacks who haven't worked a day in their miserable lives and put the burdens of huge and higher taxes on the people who have worked their asses off all their lives? McCain would have done much of the same. No difference in that party, which only works to keep the rich richer.

You are obviously a McCain supporter. But the country wanted a change from the Bush bullshit and McCain was another Bush fat ass crony. This economy is broken because Bush nearly bankrupt this country with his false war. Jobs kept leaving this country as well. But however, the economy is also messed up because of greedy assholes out there who kept putting up all these scams and taking people's monies and life savings. Obama just wants to help make it right again. What's wrong withh that?

And les me guess? You think that old fossil McCain could do better? We don't actually know what this stimulus package is going to do in the future. Bush fucked up his whole presidency for 8 years. How is Obama fucking up? McCain was just going to be another 3rd term for Bush's bullshit and we didn't need that. Being president isn't the easiest job in the world. Obama's doing the best he can to get this economy back on track, which is more than Bush ever did.

Obama's plan is nearly a Trillion $ in spending which is going to do nothing except pay back all the constituents who put him in office. This guy less than a month in is fucking up, and some clown like you is just nodding his empty head along while he's getting screwed. Baa, sheep, baa!
