I noticed this while listening to the Alchemy Index disks. I thought it was pretty neat and wondered if it meant anything. Enjoy.

  • I did get it. I was posting it for people who didn't..

  • wow i never noticed that, im so glad i know now. great observation!

and ps. is that Dallas Green in your pic? he is the man too! next to Dustin of course lol

  • Yeah thats Dallas. I just saw and met with him 2 weeks ago at a show here. It was awesome.

  • it really pisses me off that such an awesome band doesnt get the recognition it deserves....

  • I know what your saying but I remember reading in an interview that they dont want that kind of recognition. They basically don't want to be sell outs because they love it the way it is.

  • Also, the last song of each index is from the point of view of the element.

  • @EternallyDark the lyrics are also all written in iambic pentameter

  • i noticed that. quite a while ago.. i always wondered who else noticed.

  • burn the fleet is based off of some greek myth

  • @imhereformusic It's a sonnet at the end of each element with so many lines and so many words per line.

  • It's a sonnet at the end of each element. so many lines with so many words in each.

  • /facepalm at video poster for not getting it. Well actually you might not of if you dled the album, but the album art made it obvious

  • @kowalsik I heard that Burn The Fleet was from Cortez when he invaded Mexico (not sure about Mexico) and that they went there and burned down the fleet so they couldn't go home. So it would be either victory or death, which I think is why they say: "Burn The Fleet, we'll be heroes or ghosts, but we won't be turned around."

Not sure though, that's just what I heard :p

  • it is a concept album i'm sure it was done on purpose to tie it all together
