Hoover claims they have a LIFETIME self-cleaning HEPA filter system in their WindTunnel 2 Extra Reach Bagless Upright vacuum.

Here is the line from thier website...
"Self-cleaning HEPA filter cleans itself every six seconds to maintain cleaning power. You never have to touch or replace the filter."

I beg to differ. This is the 3rd cleaning I've had to do manually in less than a year.

UPDATE: 3 days after I posted this video and called back in to Hoover, they replaced this unit with an alternative. The Hoover Service Center (where I needed to go to make the exchange) seemed to be familiar with this problem and sent me on my way with a brand new Dirt Devil vacuum with no muss or fuss.

HOOVER HAS GOOD CUSTOMER SUPPORT in my book, given my experience.

  • Buy a Miele, all the others are useless...

  • lol dude your house has a shit load of dust thats why

  • @hallnoats4ever it doesn't need much suction because it has WAYYY better adgitation

  • @zunehdrocks Miele's have one of the poorest suction power and poorest designs of the market. When you have a vac that does not form a good seal and and a weak motor all you have is a surface cleaner. Just go buy a used Kirby for 3 or 4 hundred.

  • @hallnoats4ever I just like to stick with bagless and Miele s7 deep cleans and filters better than kirby.

  • @zunehdrocks buy a kirby THEY are the best

  • Sure the HEPA filter is dirty but your scraping it, it pretty much can change the filters usefulness to pointless. Best way to clean it would be a vacuum I know right the irony. Maybe you should let your kids be exposed to the world (not the people in the world, there just nasty) so when they get older they won't have a weak immune system. I mean this as constructive criticism not a insult to you or your loved ones. Have a good one!

  • dyson is the best

  • If you don't want it I will take it cause I have always wanted one

  • I tried a no bag vacuum and it was a real mess so a returned it at the shop for a refund. I bought a H2O Vac Turbo because the dust stays into the water but this vacuum is not sealed, so dust is all getting out back into the air. It has 3 air exhausts and only 1 is getting thru the HEPA filter. So stupid because the manufacturer says that it cleans the air. So fake !
