Sesame Street is therapeudic. It sounds weird, but there's a feeling of forgiveness with the Muppets. It's like, oh, I've been a rotten son of a gun today, but the innocence and acceptance from the characters helps soothe the shame.

I just have to say, no matter what a rotten day I've had, all I have to do is watch a little bit of Grover and I'm feeling one heck of a lot happier.

What was really amusing was during Season 34, one episode featured this Global Grover bit, then the following Letter of the Day segment with Cookie Monster had him carrying the exact same stack of bricks, lol.
