YoungActorsTheatreCamp.org The Young Actors' Theatre Camp is a week long overnight theatre camp for kids ages 8-18 years old. Held twice a year in the San Francisco Bay Area our camps introduce students to life in the performing arts. Classes are taught by industry professionals and specific attention is given to discovering and developing the artist within. The Winter 2006 session of the Young Actors' Theatre Camp had Broadway Star, Kristy Cates, who was "Elphaba" in "WICKED" come and teach as a Master Class Instructor. She spoke to students for over an hour about her beginnings in theatre, her move to NYC and her over 3 years in "WICKED"! Then she taught everyone the choreography to "One Short Day" and we sang and danced just like the Broadway Musical! A HUGE "Thank You!" to Dan Diaz, Marcy Hignight and Atlas Production Services for their donated time, equipment and expertise!
