@TheShelterman You're stretching the truth there a bit. First off the origional styx was an unsuccessful band, then tommy shaw joined....styx mk2, known as the classic lineup, which is what people know styx for...not the origional band as you declare! both johns died so you can't bring them back now can you? In reality the only member missing from the classic lineup thats still alive is dennis. 3/5 of the classic lineup are still there including chuck p who was there before dennis, get over it!

@1nceBitten2wiceShy Wow great call genious...Since, if I'm not mistaken this video was made by styx on a pc! oh and the music time video not only cost alot of money but was a total bomb! But what would you expect after that crappy kilroy album?

@frglee Actually the Beatles stopped touring in 1966, and they only played one show after that, which was their famous last appearance together on top of Abbey Road studios, and they didn't play the walrus.

Folks this is STYX by permission from Dennis Deyoung who is no longer in band along with 2 other founding members, I saw this cherade of a band play after a Bull Riding event in KC on the back of a flatbed trailer..Sad..very sad...

Video sucks...well only a little...come back!! dennis!!

The really sad thing is that I could probably have made this video right here at home on my computer -- but I could never in a million years come anywhere CLOSE to being able to make the "Music Time" video!!!

I liked the Styx of the 80's. This doesn't sound like Styx just like a straight cover of (probably) the best psychadelic record ever made. I think they (and everyone else) should have left this testament to the 60's well alone.

@TacomaPaul I'm saying whether they are good artists or not I'm just pointing out how dumb someone is for calling a band who's been around this long sold Millions and Millions of records and still has a Big fanbase to this day all around the world a 2nd rate band. lol
@i69children this version isn't as good as the beatles, but styx is a solid band.

It's not bad...and remember that the Beatles version was a studio recording with a lot of orchestration from Geoirge Martin. Did the Beatles ever play it live? It might have sounded a bit like this if they had. I quite like Jim Carreys version on the George Martin tribute album.
