I remember this guy came to visit us at Mc Connell AFB in Wichita, Kansas back in the mid 1970's at the airmans club and he gave a pool shooting demonstration.

@dv713 I know im responding to this late I will not argue that Willie Mosconi was a better overall player then

Minnesota Fats but he's not nearly as bad as people make him out to be. Very good players such as Jersey Red and Freddie the Beard say he played a great game of One Pocket and he was even better at Bank pool. All Around Mosconi>Fats but there's one thing you've got to admit he was without a doubt pool's greatest showman.

If you have ever seen the matches between Mosconi and Fats which were held in the late 70s you would see that Fats could not even hold Mosconis cue case even then. He lost at every game they played not just straight pool. He also lost at 8 ball 9 ball and the hustlers favorite 1 pocket. None of the matches were even close. In Mosconis heyday the only time he played Fats was a 1 pocket match they played for 50 a rack. Mosconi had to give him money to get home.

Although this doesn't sound like pool, it's sad he had to sleep with a fourteen yo girl; she might of had gobs of makeup on to look 20) if he claimed Etta James as his daughter, he might have got arrested, or at least disrespected by his contemporaries of the time

I'd bet bca because the bca handbook lists hall of fame inductees in the back with a little two sentence blurb, which would explain why you don't actually know a fucking thing about the pool players you like to discuss.
