@GOFFYTIME True, there are actually quite a few modern metal bands that sound like old-school metal stuff and I've never seen any of them in any metal magazines.

@MrShaggyJosh true that, but the so-called "metal" which can be found begriming magazines such as Metal Hammer and Kerrang is the worst of the metal that is out there. There are good metal bands, and to like good modern metal you dont have to settle for filthy forgettable poseur screamo filth, for that is all it is.

@ThePowerslave94 are fan of thrash metal, there's many new thrash metal bands, check out warbringer, bonded by blood, mantic ritual and fueled by fire. there's many more also. one really good new heavy metal band is a band called "natur"
