Athearn AC4400 Tsunami GE FDL-16 sound demo

Simple test with a tsunami AT1000 decoder, Litchfield Station 16x35 oval speaker with matching enclosure located over rear truck. Athearn ditch lights are 1.2mm 1.5v lights installed in drilled out factory fake ditch light housings.

They only come with fake lights. I drilled out the fake ones and added some 1.5 volt bulbs.

Hey, is there any chance you might be able to do a video of this unit using manual notching so I/we could hear the decoders full range of throttle settings please? I am debating putting this decoder into a new Kato unit I just picked up but am still not convinced that it would be worth it to put in sound. I am very picky when it comes to sound accuracy. :(

I have a video of the same decoder in a Kato with the speaker in the fuel tank location that Kato now provides. I might do a video with manual notching keep a look out.

I just drilled out ditch lights and have them working on an Athearn CW44-9. Well worth it!
