Hollywood Vintage Clothes Store

Remember when you were a kid and the anti-fashion fashions of Kurt Cobain, Kim Gordon & and that guy from that band that sang that song about tangerines sent everyone out in droves to the local Goodwills? Trolling through mounds of other peoples grandmothers clothes in hopes to find that one perfectly imperfect score. Ah, those were the days, but you have a job now(maybe) and there's no time for that. Not to fear, we've done the dirty work for you. Nothing but scores in our huge Vintage sections. Put your hand sanitizer away and get your vintage on.

  • Ridiculously over priced crap. Store owners tend to think that their used clothes harnesses some kind of magical power, so in return they must sell it above normal store prices. Get real. I'm sticking to local thrift stores.

  • wow, what a place. Thanks!

  • wow so many clothes!

  • is there a store like this in the uk? i badly want to go shopping there.

  • @fastskin178 These stores work well for people that cannot identify "vintage" by looking at it. If you have a party to go to and need a 1950s dress you're going to be hard-pressed to find it by Friday night as you waste your gas money driving from Goodwill to Goodwill searching for a dress that you may never find. Not to mention that you may not find something in good condition that you can wear right away. Almost always these garments need cleaning and repair, some people don't have the time.

  • @gothickittty You know if you actually went thrift shopping at places like those I mentioned in my previous comment, you can find great pieces at insanely low prices. Sure, it takes a while and more than one store to find a treasure but I feel like thrift/vintage shopping is more than going to a store that already picked out everything for you and marked-up the pieces way too much. The thrill of not knowing what you'll find, finding a vintage beauty for dirt-cheap.. these make up thrifting!

  • @fastskin178 People who know the difference can distinguish between the quality fabrics and designs of pre 1970s clothing and the crap made in China and India, today. If it's lasted 40+ years that's a good inclination as to the quality of the garment, which is unlike the cheap pieces you buy at the mall.

  • yes looks like thrift store stuff. how do they know there is only 2 or 3 of one in the world?

  • How is this different from places like Out of the Closet, Goodwill, Savers, etc?! Why is everything so expensive?!

  • Great storytelling, I love the energy. Awesome interview intercutting.
