  • Mine is getting delivered tomorrow : )

  • @damstac Have fun with that tomorrow :) I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I love the humor you include in your review. Not enough reviewers do that but it shows your attention to detail and how to keep a review interesting =)

    Funniest part for me was:

"This device is HUGE! I mean you have no idea how huge it is until you have held it in your hand" ---> flash to Ron Jeremy image

    =P

I also appreciate the respect you give to the developers at Xda.

I subscribed to your channel because I like your style. Keep up the great work!

  • @ap3604 Thanks for that man!! Means a lot!

Hi, great review. I just have two quick questions:

    1) Some people complained the phone was laggy - not that it lacked performance, just the software didn't feel optimized. Did you feel this way?

    2) You mentioned the construction felt cheap; did the battery case feel this way? My old phone drove me nuts because the battery case always felt like it was coming off, and I don't want that experience again.

    Anyhow, thanks for the review.

  • @sciences8, thank for your reply! I’ll have to answer in two comments due to character restrictions :P

1.The phone is very snappy but there are a few apps around that struggle with the high resolution. I personally only noticed this in Launcher Pro where the opening and closing animation of the app drawer isn’t as smooth as in lower resolutions. But more and more phones come with higher resolution screens and developers adapt accordingly. In general; it's the fastest phone I've used

    2. I was used to a heavier phone, that’s probably why my first impression was that the phone felt weirdly light to me. However I don’t feel the battery cover feels unreliable. It’s connected with 17 little snaps and only covers the back, not the sides. So it’s less likely to damage the cover if you were to drop it a few times. Of course; it’s still plastic. But I don’t feel worried :)

    Hope this helped!

Hey, thanks for the reply and honesty!

Still sounds like a great phone; my upgrade is available out almost exactly when the phone launches so I'm debating between this and waiting for the Galaxy S III (which could be out as late as June :\ ).

  • Loved your review style. Will be waiting for more reviews from your channel. Yep, I've subscribed! ^_~
