The biggest thing to remember about this is that we were over there to fight terrorist and stamp them out of existence. We also were there to protect our interests in the Middle East. That being said... This is not a holy war... This is not a war based on christianity vs. islam... I wish people would see this more clearly. The media and ultra-conservatives are pushing this agenda of anti-muslim sentiment and its just plain wrong.

@thor360 i agree. i also think that our interests in the middle east are to stamp out the earth-man. but then again, i am a nutcase. i felt great when i saw the Ziggurat.

Iraq is part of the "War on Terror" so we are fighting terrorists and to better secure the world from an advanced terrorist organization such as Al Qaeda which also has a very rich leader from his Saudi Arabian family connections. We are also there to secure our interests such as but not limited to, oil. The media and Conservatives with extreme ideas inflate things and make it appear this is a war between Christianity and Islam. This makes the war seems worse then it is already.

i'm not an american and to be honest i didnt agree with the iraq war but to see this relly makes you think about the men who sacrificed them selfs

@thor360 the USA started the war based on intelligence that Iraq had WMDs...unfortunately you pick the wrong country......Saudi Arabia and Iran..but Bush and Cheney have a key investment and interest with the Saudi princes and royalty...a war based on falseness and lies, American, Australian, British soldiers killed for nothing...
