@MrEnlighteneddespot its called karma. cause and effect. not god. if america meddles in foreign affairs when we're not welcomed to do, of course we'll face push back, which is what happened on 9/11. It had nothing to do with 'immorality'... and to say otherwise is, that it had something to do with some celestial tyrant is yes, speculation... and if that's all it is, and nothing more, then it is also simply BABBLE.

@seanstrnad One can only speculate, but I personally believe that civilizations which obey God's word do receive some form of protection. I don't agree with Falwell's concrete accusations, however I do not rule out the possibility that evil and suffering in the world may somehow be connected to going against what is right. Sodom, Sparta, Macedon and the Roman Empire rejected God and they are no more today. I believe the scripture supports such speculation.

@seanstrnad I think he was implying that because America had turned their back on God he likewise turned his back on America and done nothing to protect America from the devastation imposed by Islamic terrrorists. There is some Biblical backing for this as the Israelites were invaded by the Babylonians when they rejected God. Jerry was a fool to make such a claim though, as he had no evidence to state outright that America somewhat deserved 9/11 and its hardly the first time a tragedy hit the US
