Bushclass usa psk project. The first of many parts to come, there are several of us on BCUSA who intend to spend many up comming weekends, working and living out of these to really see what they are all about. Nothing about them from a table top, everything will be done and used outside. To me you can only practice something in the kitchen so long before its time to go put it all to the test. No more excuses, time to get out there. See ya in the mountains

  • Really good. How about just a breast milk bag? Maybe fit a cup in the bottom of the bag? how about a UST saw instead of the wire one? Nice set up though, good job.

    Thanks, Rich

  • @RichTheRidgeHunter Thats an idea, on the BM bag. thanks, we might even have some around the house

  • nice kit, good to see it in real use. really want to hear about how the 2 space blankets worked for you. BTW was that a 10/22 I saw in the background?

  • @mchipman1 Thats a Henry takeown .22 rifle. The space blankets were a wash...the weather just got absolutly nasty, And I knew what the outcome would be, so another trip...

  • Great video andf info i truly enjoyed it and i especially liked that tin and its contents.

  • That is a great gear setup! I really like that bag. Very, very nice!

  • Platypus and Nalgene both make collapsible water containers, both are very durable. A little more expense up front (I want to say in the $10 range), but you can use them for a long time.

  • Great video! I too have questions about a PSK for winter in deep snow and cold. Unless I am in camp, I always have my daypack on with more stuff, including a pot for melting snow, insulated water bottle, and the clothing I need, an axe or saw, etc. I can’t see ever being separated from it because its always on me. I still have matches, lighter and ferro rod and knife on my belt and in pockets just in case. Looking forward to more on your PSK

  • Really great video , I am one that needs to use some of the stuff stored in the bag.
