This is a very detailed comparison showing the difference between PS3, PC, and the OnLive service. The difference between OnLive and PS3 or PC, is OnLive doesn't require any specialized hardware to play games.
You'll notice that the car I drive in Dirt 2 with OnLive is not the same as the one in PC and PS3, this is because OnLive has the full game to demo and the car wasn't featured.
You'll also notice in FEAR 2 that I'm in a different area than in PC and PS3, this is again because OnLive has the full game to demo and didn't start in the same area as the PC and PS3 demos.

Onlive deserves fame and I really hope it gives console games a run for their money. The thing is, I don't think gaming in general, especially PC gaming has anything to fear from Onlive for quite awhile considering the lag and the general inflexibility of the games (no modding or deep customization). People that have a good PC don't need to even touch Onlive. However, with Onlive you can play brand new games on a ten year old computer (or even a phone) which is a major plus for a lot of people!

1. OnLive does not need you to have a gaming PC
2. I play Assassin's Creed with better graphics than my PS3, on my Android tablet
3. My old gaming rig (quad SLI setup) cost me around 30 to 40 bucks a month for the 1200Watts it sucked out all day... OnLive costs me just 10 bucks a month for similar graphics (Well, as compared to that old setup).
4. The new PS3s suck balls... PS3 v1.0 FTW

Pc = best graphics but at a cost.
Onlive = Very good and can cost VERY little amounts of cash
PS3 = worse but not bad (still good) and middle price range
Onlive wins for me cuz i can play it on my mac, pc, the console and my xperia play at only one cost.... free
