It is my Stargate script. I just began creating a map with it. The game is Tactical Ops 3.4 (UnrealEngine 1.0). The particle quality is very low due to Fraps significantly decreasing the game FPS (normally there are about 10x more particles created).

  • I know, but I think it's better for the gameplay if it's two ways. ;P

  • Thanks for the comments. The unstable vortex is not well visible on the film, because of fraps decreasing the FPS, because of what less particles are spawned. I added the picture to the describtion.

The star-flight... Sorry. :D I believe it's better if the teleportation is instant.

Btw, I intend to create many different worlds with stargates.

  • Thanks Tommy! :D Not yet, it's gonna take time until I finish and release it. ;P

  • It was inspired by the Stargate SG-1 TV series that I recently started massively watching. :-) Although I got advice regarding optimizing my Stargate brush from Offi on his forum. ;)

  • lol the stargate is a one way portal not two way^^

  • keep up the good work neo ^^// ZEE.WONK :D

  • Oh yeah I forgot. You shouldn't use particles for the stargate. It looks weird. Use a water effect surface and some glowing effects to make it look more like in the movie.

  • Nice. All it needs now is a interpolation flight through the stars when you go through the gateway. You know? Like the end of Unreal1. Only you make the player fly through a starfield. Let it teleport the player in a small black room with no light. Ther you place the trigger that activates the interpolation flight ;) If you do that it will be the best stargate ever xD

  • Good work Neo_b, when we can play here ? XD
