Mike left in 92 (was forced to sit in the newsroom to finish out his contract) Vince Miller was in place for a year and a half, and then Rick Mitchell was brought in as Chief... so I've been told.

Question...I'm guessing this is a weeknight open. Why was Slater named in the open? He was never the chief at 5.
