i think all italians are proud to be italian...i dont see why they wouldnt be...great food beautiful women the cars...i think its only right to be a LOUD MOUTH PROUD ITALIANO!!!

I agree. The sterotypes just make us seem inferior (losers, criminals and bafoons). I am proud of every Italian American inventor, medical professionals and artists and educators. That is what makes us individual, not stereotypes. I am second gen, but always consider myself American - I have never been to Italy and not really apologetic about it. I am a happy person, too. Americans do forget that they have an American Culture.

Italians probably did more in terms of Invintiveness and Creativity rather than Crime....and atleast the crime is Organized... they arent like these street thugs who run around waving colored rags and shooting eachother over it..with their pants hanging down to their knees and selling crack right out in public putting their community in jeapordy....italians keep their communities safe.

Italians are not just mafia, we are teachers, doctors, lawyers, Chefs, Mechanics, Engineers etc. Italians: epitomise ingenuity of mind, inventiveness of ideas, creators of art, poets of language, beasts of sexuality, and last but not least ROMAN in courage.

Lissidini i'm italian and i'm happy you're proud about your heritage but i0ve to say being italian is first of alla a culture.

Well, italians american are more italians than argentinians bc they lived in a anglo-saxon lands and were discriminated so they were obliged to live in the little italies for 50 years marrying others italian, while in argenitna they found often a similar culture: the spanish so in a few times they were completely assimilated.

Never forget from where you come from, where our ancestors were... the Ancient Romans, be proud and conscious of your past, your presnt and your future.
