@AngieK412 OH! The answer to this is "really" quiet simple. The Uranium Pu-36 space modulator must be used in conjunction with Marvin's Telescope/cannon to gain maximum weapon potential. The Telecannon focuses the power of the space modulator into a "tight beam" powerful enough to penetrate the earth to the very core of the planet where the Uranium Pu-36 then detonates and reacts with the earths core not unlike the reaction of one of our own nuclear bombs. (only bigger) Isn't it delightful?
