Capital City Dragon Boat Race 2011

Coming on Sunday, September 4th, 2011, Labor Day Weekend. Join us for this exciting new Downtown Lansing, MI event! The CAPITAL CITY DRAGON BOAT RACE will be on the Grand River in Adado Riverfront Park. Start from behind the City Market, racing 300 meters downstream, under the Shiawassee St. bridge, to finish before the trestle bridge. The CCDBR Athletes Village, home to 24 teams of competitors, will be located in East Adado Park. Teams should sign up now at www.CapitalCityDragonBoat.com - space is limited this inaugural year, so don't delay! We are also looking for Sponsors and Volunteers to partner in bringing this excitement to Labor Day Weekend in downtown Lansing. Additionally, Lansing Mosaic Music Festival will be taking place in West Adado Park, with a diverse array of cultures represented thru food, music, dance and more.
