I have been away from my current channel and am hard at work on a new project - David's Dream. David Young was put into foster care at birth and in his own words - "The state was my parent." In fact, the State was so much David's parent that he has never left the state except for a brief trip to Canada and once to Chicago.

I have been friends with David for several years. During that time he repeatedly mentioned his desire to go to California to see the Pacific Ocean and to visit his magical kingdom of Sanfra...known as San Francisco to we mere mortals. I had been thinking of helping David fulfill his dream for some time but kept putting it off. Last year David had a stroke...so a sense of urgency was added to my plans.

David, Joe Cox (a filmmaker from Manchester UK), Barry Morrow (Oscar Winning Writer for the movie Rain Man) and I embarked on a project called David's Dream. We are driving from Iowa City, Iowa to San Francisco via Little Rock, Dallas, Tucson and Santa Barbara.

David is a warrior who survived being misdiagnosed for multiple mental illnesses and Joe and I are bipolar. Admittedly, we are an unlikely crew for such a project but what the heck? We got tired of watching regular TV and decided to make some of our own, thanks to YouTube.

@S0lidState We did not find the lost city of Cibola. We did however, locate the Pacific, it was not hidden. David now lives in Oakland. His dream of living on the western shore has been realized at long last.
