Richard Shireby, G0OJF plays the Wurlitzer 4700 AGO concert organ (electronic) with Spectratone. (c1971 vintage). UK. This music is being played in a theatre organ style using an arrangement for this purpose. N.B. this is not a classical rendition of this song!

  • What method generates sound on this particular organ?

Thanks for sharing, I love electronic organ history.

  • You made this organ sound great! Wow, I am impressed! The Spectratone really sounds close to a real Leslie. I wondered when Wurlitzer started using Leslie? I have worked such Wurlitzer organs with the Spectra Tone as there were many mechanical problems, which wore out the belt drive.
