Congressman Sam Johnson speaks against the Democrats' plan to micro-manage the Iraq War. Congressman Johnson served in the U.S. Air Force for 29-years as a highly decorated pilot. He flew combat missions in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was a prisoner of war in Hanoi for nearly seven years.

  • Another example of government (mis)education. "Profiteers" is a dead give-a-way at to his meaning, and denigration of capitalism is his goal.

The Free Market is the key to prosperity.

  • You mean like Dianne Finestein and Murtha's brother, who, unlike the ones you named, aren't in Iraq actually risking their lives. Cite that bogus study, it shows the simplicity of your thinking and lack of education. No one respects that figure but the anti war left.

  • At least it's better than funding HALLIBURTON, KBR, BLACKWATER, and the rest of the WAR PROFITEERS.

God Bless the War Profiteers - spreading CAPITALISM across the world as more than 600,000 Iraqi civilians DEAD.

  • We need more politicians like this man.

  • Good speech from a good man. Whatever your politics, to hold the troops ransom, or to extort for your own selfish gain at their expense is truly despicable.

Dhimmis should be ashamed - but they have no shame!

  • Bravo! Today's Dem leadership is not serious about anything except winning the next election. Everything, including our foreign policy, gets trumped by politics.

Serious, patriotic Democrats need to regain control of their party!

  • Great speech! No doubt, Sam Johnson is an American Hero!

  • "What does throwing money at Bubba Gump, Popeye the Sailor Man, and Mr. Peanut have to do with winning a war? Nothing."
