@freckles337 Danny should realize that when you are "In" you never can escape. Also, Carmen is very manipulative crying and all of that and alot of Mothers do that with their Sons. On the UK Soap Opera Coronation St., there were alot of Soap Mothers who were just awful. They were so convincing that people would come to them in The Street and scream at them.

I really wish I could take Danny and Ben aside and tell them the story of Hope Bauer and Alan Spaulding as an object lesson. Hope and Alan truly loved each other, but he let his family business and his manipulative father's legacy tear them apart and it destroyed Hope. Ben could learn that there's no point in going after Alan, he's already hurt himself more than anything Ben could do. It would show Danny what could happen if he let's Michelle down (except Michelle is stronger than her cousin).

Danny went into and out of the business as often as he changed socks. Hehe. It was a never-ending rollercoaster. Bottom line is that he always fell back into the old life because it was what was familiar. No matter how he tried to resist it, it was in his blood as much as Michelle's love for him was in hers.
