Nice try and yeah maybe try slowing it just a touch..I always go to fast also, its hard to keep it under control but i love that what you played...I'd like to try this one myself..

Slow down!! you are not ready to play at that speed yet. Practice slowly and deliberately for a while, and then gradually pick up the tempo.
