Both stock the yfz jus has the spark arester off and the air box lid off dats about it oh and the tires r 22's not the stock 20's!

Why is every one so obsessed with comparing 700 Raptors to every 450? The 450 is a light weight race orientated bike. The Raptor is a Lower reving low maintenance trail orientated machine. The Raptor is used to win the Dakar and the Australian Safari because it can go the distance. Horses for courses. If all you do is drag race people for fun I feel sorry for you, you are missing out on what riding is about.

@johnnyski83 Raptor 350 has the old reliable warrior 350 drive-train. Warrior's were the best selling atv of all time (Yamaha Epic website). while arguably the best all around-reliable 4 stroke of all time it by far wasnt the fastest or prettiest but it was as close to bullet-proof as it gets and ya in 6th gear given a long dirt road you could hit 60 mph on one but that is wound all the way up and takes a mile to get it there. i have 11 Yamaha'a and their old 350 is great but not a racer

@Max9string Wrong about the limiter, it is located on the left side of the bike under the plastic, its a 3 wire grey plug and if you unplug it, it will not retard the timimg in 5th gear. i had an 07se put the 15 tooth front sprocket on it, unlpugged the 5th gear limiter on it, had a slip on and ran with the airlid mod. was not a 450 that could keep up with me. Take off in second about half throttle and when the front end started dropping down hit 3rd and short shift it through 5th.

@kevinely7 depends on what year, on the older ones you unplug ur cdi box and cut the light blue wire then you ground it to the frame, but on my 2011 700r se you cant do a damn thing... no ones figured it out yet

go up to teethon front of yfz 450 for about 7 dollars for the sprocket you will leave that raptor in the dust every time...
