I live in wilkes barre and when i got evcuated I was crying cause my parents were at work i was at my cousin's house with my sister and my bro was at my house sleeping...I'm 11 and it was pretty scare...I was hoping we could stay at my cousin's house who lives up on a hill for like 2 weeks cause it's awesome at hi house cause I barely see him

i watched the water rise and i watched it fall i seen the devastion on friends and families faces when they lost thier homes thank god none lost thier lives. My prayers go out to all those families who lost thier homes in flood of 2011.

I grew up in Exeter, but I live out of state now and I appreciate anyone who took photos or video of the area. Don't let those idiots who critize you for doing this get to you. It still happened, there was a flood and there was damage, nothing wrong with recording it. News stations do it all the time. Storm chasers do it all the time. I was in Viet Nam when the flood in 1972 happened. My heart and prayers go out to those still there.

@Durkie52 I agree. News stations do not have any special training for standing outside of a flood gate. Storm chasers have training but anything can happen at anytime. It's the chance you take.

I was down there the same day, between 1pm and 2pm. I took about 80 pics. Do you find that you're getting alot of "hate mail" from people in response to your video? I posted an album to Facebook, as well as several pics to WBRE and WNEP, and 90% of people who comment are critical of my pics, "how dare you go down there...", "you must be stupid.....", "what is wrong with you....". What IS wrong is the attitudes of the people in this valley.....Anway, great video!!!

@Kiyema I have not gotten any negative feedback for my pictures or video. Fact is, is it dangerous? Sure. Is it the smartest thing? Probably not. However this is history and it should be recorded as much as possible so, thank you for letting me know you like the video!
