@Crazyredemu Not true- I've been to an Emu farm plenty of times and they vary a lot. One of them when it stood at it's tallest was looking me in the eye, and I'm 6'2". The average Emu gets to be around 5" when standing erect, though they can of course appear smaller when they've got their head slung low.

They're real little cuties at this age, although I don't think they're ugly when they are fully grown (but that's just my opinion). They grow to be quite tall (4 - 5 feet), the males heads tend to go a blue-ish colour with a bit of black fuzz on top of their heads, and they're body feathers get a bit longer and brown/grey coloured : )
