hm..but from the CDC's site, it indicated that the three that died had a form of "exposure to growth hormones".
also, brain and spine are the key sources of any TSE. In fact, most people who succumbed to Mad Cow was from consumption of said parts.
but one thing still bothers me that you haven't answered...
If this is indeed a cover up by the government, wouldn't the information you have been providing deleted or the original author sued?

"Working with mice, University of
Colorado neurologist Patrick Bosque has detected infectious prions not only
in neural tissue but in muscle, and believes CWD may be transmissible to
other species, including humans. It is a view shared by many who study the
disease.
"We have to be careful about concluding that it hasn't happened," says
Hoover.

"It's kind of a mixed message," says Jim Woodward, a Wellington, Colo.,
activist who opposes the state's approach. "They seem to be comfortable in
making some extremely definitive statements that humans aren't going get
this disease. And that's exactly what happened in England in the 1980s," in
the early days of mad cow."

"two were diagnosed with
CJD and one was diagnosed with Pick's disease, a form of dementia."
While wildlife agencies play down any danger, they also provide stark
warnings not to eat animal parts considered to be at highest risk, such as
the brain and nervous tissue. Many suggest that meat from an infected animal

who died of neurological diseases after eating wild game. In 2003, doctors
at the VA Hospital in Seattle reported Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in three
hunters; the CDC would not investigate, saying there was no evidence the men
ate tainted meat. A 2002 study documented three Wisconsin men who regularly
ate venison and took part in large "game feasts";

She thinks that the US government does a cover up on CWD.

really? so the CDC's Warning signs are a total lie?
oh yeah, sounds really well contained. BS, cwd is well established now in all areas with wild whitetail populations.

@goodsnservices realy? how can this be when the whitetail deer ranges from central cannada all the way to south america and cwd has only been found in about a dozen states and 2 canadian provinces. sounds like you need to pull your head out your ass and learn what your talking about before you make dumbass comments.

Excuse me but venison eaters have died meaning it has spread to human population. Also one cannot always tell when the deer or elk is infected, they can appear perfectly healthy.
Matthew5Verse7 2 years ago
excuse me but no. there is absolutly no reported cases of anyone catching a prion disease from deer or elk.
