This is a competition where 4 vehicles compete to collect and return the most number of "match boxes" to their home base, over a rocky obstacle course, within 3 minutes. All vehicles use AVR 8-bit microcontrollers for controlling the variable forward/backward speed and left/right steering. Students spent an entire semester to design, build and program their robots, including the grabbing (box holding) mechanism. Competition designed and hosted by Dr Sam Cubero (2005)
