  • Well, I see the Leftist wackos are out in full force this morning.

Note all of the anti-"corporate" (or "korporate") rhetoric. And what's their solution to this big problem of companies seeking to make profits on their efforts?: Have gov't take control of entire industries. Cuz after all, gov't is SO trustworthy, efficient, and altruistic, right?

If you hate "korporations" and love gov't control, then move to Cuba or Venezuela.

P.S. Insurance co. profits are below the national average.

  • My congressman! YAY!

  • It will create a nationwide federal government program, the "public option," which will also pay for abortions on demand.

  • The current version will give billions of dollars of taxpayer healthcare benefits to ILLEGAL ALIENS in America. It would allow illegal aliens to use the new healthcare "exchange" and would not require verification to keep illegal aliens out of the other parts of the proposed federal healthcare system.

  • The bill protects trial lawyers. The bill gives money (authorized at "such sums") to states that enact "certificate of merit" (a document signed by a medical professional that says there is a probability that the standard of care was violated) and / or a certificate of "early offer" (an early, confidential apology) laws, as long as the states don't limit attorneys' fees or impose caps on damages.

  • The CBO estimates that H.R. 3962, the health bill that the House passed, would cost $1.2 TRILLION over 10 years, including the cost to states for mandated Medicaid expansion ($34 billion), the "Doc Fix" ($245 billion), and authorized discretionary spending for grants, public programs, changes and funding for a variety of agencies that would be responsible for implementing H.R. 3962.

  • 0:28 Mr. Mark Kirk is just calling two examples and making them into a "logic statement"... He is lying because the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) found that TORT reform does NOTHING to curb down costs of health insurance OR medical costs to patients. The CBO told McCain directly a couple of months ago that TORT reform does NOT lower health care costs for patients at all (insurance or direct reimbursements)

  • This move to radically change our health care system by putting the federal government in charge has nothing to do with making health care more accessible, more available & more affordable for the American people. It's more about the desire of some democrats in Washington to impose government control over you (& your money.). If you think they care about "the guy who lives payday to payday," think again. The only "payday" they truly care about is THEIR OWN, the most corrupt administration EVER.

  • Who rules the Democrat party? How many Republican congresspersons own international food concerns like Hines, or Starkist?

Please enlighten me as to which big business owns which congressperson?

  • Democrat, and proud of it. You repubs are so selfrighteous, why don't you practice what you preach, love thy neighbor as thyself? I just can't stand a hypocrit. All that matters to you is your bank account. Just remember what goes around comes around. God love the working man, the guy who lives payday to payday, because without them who would do the real work that lines the pockets of corporate america. then corporat executives take everything from them to buy their yachts tax free for buisness?
