This is a slideshow in tribute to Freddie Mercury. The soundtrack is my cover of 'No-One But You.' The song is unfinished and unmixed as yet. Apologies if some pictures are used more than once; surprisingly there aren't as many pictures of Freddie online as I needed!
Thanks for viewing.

By the way, if you've got a problem with the fact that I've sung this song, and that I didn't use the Queen version-- gimme a break. Using the Queen version is something everybody does. I'm not re-hashing their song because I wanted to do my OWN tribute, okay? So kindly bugger off with the negative comments.
Remember, as BRIAN MAY said: 'Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.'

  • Where and what year was the picture at 2:14 taken?

  • Looks like Montreaux, Switzerland, probably between 1986 and 1991. That's just a guess, though.

  • Thank you for posting this. Fantastic job. I'm glad you sang the song yourself. Rock on, brother!

  • "Rock on, _brother_! ?

    _BROTHER_?

I'm quite certain that this is a woman singing.

    Or perhaps a castrato singer.

  • Uh, no.

Young man here. My voice has definitely changed since this recording.

  • Thanks very much :-)

  • Very well done - I think it's wonderful that you sang it yourself; it really shows your great respect for Freddie. Just beautiful.

  • Great Tribute...

...You have a very nice voice. Rock On !!!!

  • @Abraxas47 I think between 1987-1989. Because Freddie hasn't moustache and he isn´t slim.

  • Beautiful tribute song for Freddie.

  • @Abraxas47 I think it´s in Canada where they ware during the last album.

  • @johnson9dantheman I'd even go so far as to say it was between '89 and '91, because I've never seen a photo of him before 1989 without the moustache (except for very early on, in the '70s, and we can rule that out pretty quickly). He had shaved it off by the filming of the video for "The Miracle" in 1989, so I assume this image must be from then or later.

  • the last song produced by deacon:'(

  • Nice job! Great cover and excellent tribute :)
