Forget "best 70's Australian movie" this is an all time classic Epic! I was turned onto it from IFC, I'm 37 & a major film buff this film has shot straight up into my top all time 5 films some of the Aboriginal shots of Billy feel like a parascope into the depths of time , & the furosity & authenticity of Hoppers performance might very well be the best ever not just in his career but in all of cinimatic history
