Really America also pollutes the air but it's not that noticeable :p everyone is part of pollution seriously stop blaming eachother and start doing something! Or just hope u can float away like those balloons and hope you'll land on A new planet ... And We'll probably distroy that planet too.

Actually the pollution from fireworks is far greater compared to this deriving from the biodegradable balloons. You can even collect the remainings of the balloons before their limited lifetime in nature, but how do you deal with the toxic compounds of strontium, barium, antimony and other heavy metals (released from fireworks) that tend to accumulate in marine organisms?
I'm not japanese but I like their style and as a chemist I clearly feel the different environmental impact.
