That's what I was saying..... thanks for helping make my point, that's simply the direction the sport has taken, some people just want it to stay like it was 25 years ago.... things change!!
-
x2, that old garbage, ie. van halen and other 80s shit is no longer in, the only people that like it in the sport are the people who grew up with the music. I'm 18, I listen to rap, pumps me up to race more than anything else for music, that is what is current and that is what brings in customers, depending on your market that is
-
annoying 65cc 2 strokes..

Yes Sir, I agree with you, that MX is about energy, and metal will get you pumped. I always crank up some Metallica, Pantera, or Disturbed on my way to the track to get fired up. All I'm saying is that there are alot of the younger guys into this, and I've got to make this point too, since Stewart has been in the pro ranks you hear alot more rap music associated with moto, even on Speed when the race is coming on, they'll throw in some rap. I, personally, agree with your taste in music. Peace.

Well if you say so, but I can guaran-damn-tee you music that can be appreciated by a broader group of people would prove a better marketing tool. Even forgetting that, a good Maiden song would turn heads a lot quicker than rap, and toss in SOAD or Tool, you've got some MX'ers coming to your park. Rap is for lowrider ads, and designer jeans, metal is for MX, drag racing etc. It's about energy.

Not anymore, the motocross crowd has changed since the 80s my friend, Van Halen LOL!!! This music is what alot of mx fans are into, have you not seen the kids that in the "lites" class on tv? Flashy earings, necklaces, designer sunglasses, etc... I know some consider them "punks", but face it brother, this music is what the new generation of racers and fans are into, like it or not!!
is this track still open? if so what is the address?

The vid sells it quite well, but the music doesn't really fit MX. I know it sounds cheesy, but go back to the old ads for Arenacross in the 80's and see what tunes they are using. It is usually old rock, like Van Halen's "Jump" or "Free Ride" by Edgar Winter. There has and always will be a standard for MX crowds, and that is guitar-driven rock. Rap just doesn't suit this sport. I will be so bold as to suggest that by using rap as theme music, you have disuaded many potential visitors.
