(1) If you're decide to join a DDoS attack, make sure you do it from outside the US
(2) Make sure the box you're logged in from doesn't store connection logs
(3) Be sure to proxy up before conencting to the box that you plan to use LOIC from
(4) When you're finished, burn that proxy that you used and never use it again
