OPENING OCTOBER 2011! The Shore Hotel will be a new four-story, 164 room Hotel with modern contemporary design at the property located at 1515 Ocean Avenue with an annex at 1530 Second Street (across the street from the new Santa Monica Place shopping mall).

-164 luxury ocean view guestrooms, family owned and operated

-"California Modern" Contemporary Design, inspired by the convergence of spectacular natural landscape with a unique urban design; ocean and pier views from all guestrooms, transparent open design, and hotel exterior consisting of glass, stainless steel, concrete, wood, and plaster components.

-Location: 1515 Ocean Avenue (across the street from the beach, Palisades Park bluffs, and Historic Santa Monica Pier; one block from world famous Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place Shopping Mall; two blocks from the future terminal for Expo Light Rail)

-The new construction project is approximately 90,000 square feet and includes 3,200 square feet of retail space along Second Street, 1,400 square feet of retail space along Ocean Avenue, 800 square feet meeting room space, a public plaza garden on Ocean Avenue with an overhanging trellis canopy, pool/jacuzzi and large pool deck, private outdoor landscaped courtyard, fitness center, business center, 3 level transparent sky bridge connecting Ocean Ave and Second Street buildings, and four levels of underground parking (115,000 square feet) to accommodate 294 parking spaces.

-The hotel will be the first newly built Silver LEED Certified hotel in Santa Monica, incorporating sustainability and green building features for design, construction, and operations.
