Amtek wind turbine chassis & blades in 2-3 mph breeze.

This is an Amtek 30 motor on an all steel twin boom chassis i made for Tim Dorney in Berkshire, was sold with hornet type blades which were garbage & would barely turn it, so made him a proper graduated angle high area and quick 1.36 Metre (4.46 feet) diameter glassfibre set on steel mountings. Very pleased on completion it made 17-19 Volts unloaded (enough to begin charging 12v batteries) in only 5-6 mph wind, (better than many commercial 12v turbines). A couple of washers balanced it well. Was making 1.5-3Amps the following day when there was a light-modest breeze.
