Nearly a week after Brazil's worst mudslides in decades, bodies are still being found and many communities remain cut off.

At least 697 people are confirmed dead after floodwaters swept through mountain towns north of Rio de Janeiro. That death toll is expected to rise.

Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo met one man struggling to dig out the bodies of his family in the mountain village of Teresopolis.
