A lap of the Marham track, in my Pug 205, on Sat 12/4/08, following the MG Midget before it rolled.
I only caught the end of the roll on tape as we were coming around the corner when it happened. What the camera misses, is the Midget in a 4 wheel drift on the piano keys, before coming onto the grippier tarmac and basically 'high-siding' like a motorbike does. For a split second, while the Midget was on 2 wheels, i thought that it was going to come back down on it's wheels again. Unfortunately you can see what did actually happen.
This is one of the scariest things i've ever seen, especially with the Midget having no rollcage. Fortunately the driver only had a few bruises and a sore head.
ouch ggood job i got a roll bar lol

Wow, that's pretty scary isn't it? An MGA coupe rolled at the Australian National Meeting a few years back with a 16-year-old behind the wheel. It was the last straw that made us put a rollbar in ours.

I'd been telling him for years that the suspension was too soft :)

thats really good he walked out from that ok, i have a 65 midget set up for track and i think it is simply a must to have a roll bar or cage even if your just doing track days.
