P.S. I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to see Herb and Lani play at Blues Alley in Georgetown Washington DC 12 May 2008. The show was absolutely spectacular. After all these years, they both still have it: the skills and the love. Truly a remarkable show. Herb and Lani, thanks to all of the wonderful years of warming our hearts with your great art work. You both are truly blessed as well as I was at your show.

Agua Caliente Racetrack in TJ, B.C. Mexico back in the 60"s. You can see all the hills in the back round are still bare. It was fun to drive down there for the day. Love the 60's

Agua Caliente race track, back in the days when they used to race horses, nowadays everything has changed and they only race grehounds.

Ese video es demasiado divertido, era la tónica de los videos de Herb Alpert. Gente haciendo cosas absurdas delante de una multitud (ojalá mexicanos, creo que Alpert los ama), pero felices de la vida dándose el gusto. Son videos demasiados sanos, salvo por lo de los toros, que a algunos ahora no les gusta (aunque que yo sepa en ninguno de sus videos sale un toro maltratado, sino al revés je je, toreros haciendo el ridículo).

The good old days of the Caliente Racetrack in Tijuana, Mexico from opening day in 1929 until it was destroy by fire in August 5, 1971! It was rebuild by 1975 as the New Caliente but never the same! Finally closed for good in 1992!

The first time I ever saw a drunk moaning and rolling on the grass was at this racetrack in 1967. "Too much tequilla," I heard one man say as he was passing by.
