  • It would have been awesome if they would have given this version of the game to the people who preordered the game in 2010 :D

  • those fucking ubisoft idiots ruined a perfectly good game, free roaming and true stealth with the awesome krav maga melee attacks, why? Why? WHY? seriously what a fucking waste, the version we got was more action oriented, linear, flavourless, and just all around a downsized, console friendly, more accessible, less stealth game that's a mockery of what could have been. I mean I still play it, it's alright and fun but, it's just so bland and subdued

  • is there any way possible i could get a copy of this game?

  • they changed it because OF FUCKING IDIOTS WHO SAY IT LOOKS LIKE ASSASSIN'S CREED,WHO CARES IF IT DOES LOOK LIKE THAT, we JUST WANT TO ENJOY A GOOD FREE WORLD SPLINTER CELL GAME

  • @StarAdder92 yeah the plot got ridiculous very quickly, and i understand why you used FPS, all i hope for FPS is that they hit the toilet i am sick of the market for games when around half or more are FPS, but thanks for clarifying

  • @TheICWLeague I tend to judge plot-centered games like Splinter Cell on the "make-sense" of their plots. Conviction got an F for insulting my intelligence by trying to pass its plot off as a "storyline with depth." The gameplay difference between FPS and TPS is narrowing pretty fast (ex. Killzone), so to clarify I use FPS as a synonym for action video games.

  • @StarAdder92 good points Conviction was good but Double Agent screwed the series up Chao Theory was perfect. but its not an FPS there is no First Person Shooting in the game. you "Steathily" (quotes because you never need to) shoot people in 3rd person. the game was better than Double Agent but all i hope is that they take the smoother sam of Conviction and return it to the perfect stealth of Chaos Theory

  • I bet this will be in splinter cell 6!!!

  • @MrRedberet The final version wasn't "Splinter Cell." It was a crappy, flashy FPS with a storyline that was fucked up in so many ways. Everything went wrong starting with Double Agent. Ubisoft should have continued with the Chaos Theory formula, instead of embarking on the cliche dramatic-betrayal storylines that seem prevalent in video games, attempting to be labelled as sophisticated.
