Recap- Chris has got a date with Alyssa! :)

Emily's POV

"Wanna go join the boys?" I ask Megan.
"Sure!" She replies.

We get up and walk to the edge of the water, where they were.

"Heyy!" Says Megan. "What you two talking bout?
"Nothing." replies Jacob. "Except Chris has got a date with Alyssa this weekend!"
"oh my gosh! Really! Thats so-"
Megan stopped herself and suddenly looked at me, not knowing what to say.
"Cool." I mutter. " That's so cool,"
"Thanks," Replies Chris.

I silently sigh. I loved Chris, but he loves Alyssa. Oh well.

We play volleyball, swim, dance, and eat. Before we knew it it was time for everyone to go home.

'Ring ring ring!'
"Hello?" Megan says answering her phone.
"Where are you??" Says the voice on the other line.
"At the beach, duh Kevin!"
"Its 11:30!"
"Ok! I'm coming home right now!"
"Do you want me to pick you up?"
"No. You'll get swarmed by girls. Besides, Big Rob isn't here. Is he coming tomorrow morning?"
"Yes."
"ugh...Woopee.. Where you going to now?"
"Chicago."
"How long?"
" Just 3 days. Maybe you can find a friends house to stay at?"
"Okay. I'll be home soon. Bye."
She hangs up.

"I'm always open Meg!" I say, knowing her brothers are going somewhere out of state.
"Thanks Em." She smiles and sighs. "I need to get going."
"We all should." Jacob yawns.

We all get on our bikes and go home. But only one thing was on my mind. While I biked, got ready for bed, slept. Just one thing. Lucky Alyssa....

Megan's POV
"Come on, Meg. Wake up!"
My covers get pulled off as I roll over.
"Big Rob!" I whine. "I'm not even going!"
"Your going to school." He says and picks me up. "And say good bye to your brothers."
"What about Frankie!" I whine.
"He's at James house already. Now get dressed, come on!"

He puts me on the floor and leaves, closing the door behind him. I sigh and pull on some grey sweatpants and a red american eagle tank. I Slip on my brown high-top converse and run downstairs.

"Bye, Bye, Bye." I say to Nick, Joe, and Kevin. I give them each a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"You have a place to stay, right?" Kevin asks.
"Yes." I sigh. "Emilys."
"Okay, good. Don't be late for school!"
"I know!"
And with that, they leave. I run upstairs, and grab my new vera bradly tote with my school stuff. I stuff some clothes and other things into it for my sleepover at Emilys then I run back downstairs. I make 2 eggs and I drink a glass of OJ. I put my hair in a messy ponytail, and I run outside, just missing the bus. Crap. I run into my garage and grab my skateboard. I then just ride to school. I run inside and run to my locker, stuffing the skateboard in. I grab my gym clothes, and my music and I quickly dash to the chorus room. I barge through the door right as Mrs. Bowen's calls my name.
"Jonas!" She says.
"Here!" I pant.
"Your late." She says sharply and puts a check mark next to my name.
"I'm sorry ma'am. Won't happen again." Then I slip quietly into my seat, anxious to go to next period.
The bell rings and I quickly get out of my seat and run out the door to the girls locker room. I change into my gym clothes and run to gym.
"Ms. Jonas," Says Mr. Miller, the gym teacher. "Early, for once, are we?"
"Sure?" I say and sigh.
"We still have 5 minutes."
"Oh."

The rest of the school day went by fine. I wasn't tardy anymore. Finally, it was time to go home.

Emily's POV

"Okay, Thank you Mrs. Franz." I say to my science teacher.
"Your welcome." She replies, not looking up from her computer.
Then I silently exit to Megan's locker.
"Ready?" I ask her. She nods in reply and grabs her bag and skateboard. We race to the bus and get caught by the principal.
"Go back and walk!" He says. Of course, we do as he says.
"Sorry Mr. Clueman."
We walk the rest of the way to our bus.
"Megan! Emily!" Jacob calls from the back. "Over here!"
We walk over to him and sit across from him.
"Wheres Chris?" I ask. He nods his head to the seat two in front of us. He was sitting with Alyssa.
"I hate that girl," I say under my breath.
"I know you do." Megan says, obviously hearing what I said.

He sits there the whole time. Talking Laughing, Smiling, with....Alyssa. I shiver at the sound of her name. Why her? Whats wrong with me? Why can't Chris like me!?

Finally the bus stops at our stop. Megan and Jacob get off. I was about to get off, when I noticed Chris wasn't. I walk to his seat.
"Chris? Its our stop!" I say.
"I'm going to Alyssa's." He replies, without looking at me.
"Oh'." I get off the bus and run home, completely ignoring Megan and Jacob. I know it was mean, but I didn't want to talk to them. I didn't want to talk to anybody. I just wanted Chris to not like Alyssa...but to like me. Crushing on someone is harder than I thought.
