A montage of photos from the flooding here in Queensland, Australia. I'm about an hour from some of these photos in Brisbane and 2 hours from the others where the flood waters are currently still rising.
People are rushing around everywhere trying to evacuate themselves, their families and their pets. Today on FaceBook there were dozens of requests from people asking for help to save their horses and other animals and move them to higher ground. People were offering accommodations on twitter, everyone has pulled together during this devastating time. Many did not make it out in time.

i used to live in australia queensland and adelade born and raised

But we had to move because of my dads work

We still have people in WA recovering from a flood last yr,which the rest of australia ignored,we didn`t get any sympathy and i have none for people who live on an inland ocean bed which will eventually be claimed by the sea again.ie Queensland.only an idiot would live there.

why doesnt the rest of australia get a pity party when there in drought or bushfires...no mention of how much livestock they have lost during these hard stricken times? for those who choose 2 continue living in these queenland areas knowing what happens when it does rain as much as this then u deserve everything you get...bring on the rain :)
